Kirsten Ramsay Ceramic Conservation
In 1991 following a 2 year Post Graduate Diploma Conservation course at the prestigious West Dean College, West Sussex, Kirsten gained a British Antiques Dealer Association post graduate Diploma in the conservation & restoration of ceramics, glass, and related materials.
Experience gained during training included an internship at The V&A Museum, London and also Brighton Museum.
Following graduation, she gained invaluable professional experience working in the Ceramics Conservation department at The British Museum, London.
In 1995, whilst continuing part-time employment with The British Museum she established her own business as a professional Ceramic Conservator and Restorer in Brighton.
Clients include well known collections and she has established long term professional relationships with clients from the antique trade and private collectors in the UK and abroad.
Since 2017 Kirsten has appeared as the ceramics expert and core member of the restoration team on BBC The Repair Shop in the UK and on Netfilx worldwide.
