Following qualification, at the internationally renown West Dean College and with 25 years experience in the field of conservation we offer a wide range of expertise, focused on providing the client with a high-quality, professional service at competitive rates.

Specialising in the restoration and conservation of Oriental and European Ceramics and a wide range of other related materials, earthenware, painted plaster, alabaster, enamels, glass, cloisonné and micro mosaic.

Offering a choice of invisible restoration, colour filling and museum conservation of objects depending on the client's requirements.

We are happy to advise on antique and contemporary objects including collection care, condition reports, specialist cleaning of objects and regularly undertake insurance work.

Our clients include private collectors, public institutions, antique professionals, auction houses and the general public.

We offer restoration techniques that are sympathetic to antique objects, rare and sentimental items.

Since 2017 Kirsten Ramsay regularly appears on BBC and Netflix USA in the multi award winning programme The Repair Shop as resident ceramics expert.

Our minimum charge of £150.00 per item.

Where possible estimates can be given from photographs.

Unfortunately due to the number of requests for practical information on ceramic restoration and given the wide variety of materials and ceramic bodies we are unable offer advice on private projects and restoration methods.
